Fiddlin’ Red Simpson has continued to live and carry forward the early traditions of the American Frontier through quality craftsmanship and music. From lectures on the history of the old West to private-party and other musical performances, he exudes the rich character and heritage of America.
Straight out of the Old West, Fiddlin’ Red’s Music offers new and used string-instruments, such as guitars, mandolins, violins, banjos, ukuleles and more, as well as stringed-instrument repairs, restoration and rentals, along with stringed-instrument music lessons in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Fiddlin’ Red Simpson taught himself to play guitar at the age of 12, and enjoys finger-picking ragtime, flat-picking old-time tunes and playing slide-style blues. Red also plays fiddle, mandolin, banjo, spoons, harmonica, jaw harp and button accordion in the old-west tradition.
